Josh Visnaw

Josh Visnaw is an advocacy, policy, and political strategist who has worked in several roles in campaigns, community engagement, and international development. Josh has experience across 11 states, including recent stints as GOTV staff for the Wisconsin Democratic Party in 2020, State Director in Oklahoma and Louisiana for Bernie 2020, Deputy Field Director for the Michigan Democratic Party 2018 Coordinated Campaign, and various organizing roles in 5 states for Bernie 2016.

His international experiences include managing development projects in Belize, serving as Fulbright Public Policy Fellow in Timor-Leste, and consulting for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. Josh completed three AmeriCorps terms, where he had the privilege of working alongside the community of New Orleans - unquestionably the greatest city in the US - after Hurricane Katrina. He currently resides in Michigan.
