Joel Miller made national headlines in 2020 for taking on the Trump Administration’s attempts at voter suppression. Even after being outspent by an 8 to 1 margin, Miller dominated the Democratic Primary for Iowa Secretary of State, carrying 98 of 99 Iowa counties and winning statewide by a margin of 44 points.
